The first box is designed to hold a deck of cards, like Magic The Gathering. You can adjust the dimensions to fit differently sized decks.

It is made from 3.3mm thick plywood. For the hinge you will need a 4mm dowel that is 82mm long.
For the gift card box use this SVG file: gift_card_box.svg
It is made for 3mm thick plywood. You will need 2 dowels for the hinges, 4mm in diameter and 10mm long.
Both boxes use tiny magnets to hold the lids closed. The magnets are 3.2mm in diameter and 1.5mm thick. The cyan circles in the blueprints are used to etch the holes for the magnets.
Useful tip: It is important to align the magnets perfectly, otherwise the lids will tend to pull to one side. The problem is that the hole is on the back side of the lid, therefore it has to be etched as a separate pass. A clever way to align the two passes is to take out the wooden piece from the laser cutter without moving the surrounding material, flip the piece, and then place it in the same hole. For this to work you need to make sure the hole is symmetrical.
